  • Got Radio365 running on my desktop PC, currently tuned into Astreaux World. All in all, a good day, apart from having to switch to Light Mode to get around the amount of broken HTML that /. is giving me lately... :P

Spent the day downtown shopping for this an' that. Cracked me up how the Confessor once again flirted with anybody who'd smile at him...for that matter, he always gets excited when we go out, even just for shopping, and lights up like a Christmas tree. :-)

  • New Zealand, being in the southern hemisphere, is cold at this time of year. Single digits[1] most of the day on really cold days.
Frosty mornings. Can't wait for summer.

[1] that's celcius BTW - don't ask me about Fahrenheit.

Uh...that's supposed to be cold?? It's not winter if you don't have below freezing and at least a meter of snow on the ground ;-)

      • mmm below freezing... i guess here in Australia it is always summer?... 7*C to 18*C and it's the middle of winter.

I would love to go to the snow (about 4-5hours from where I live), I really love the cold, but am glad that it does not snow here all winter - that does not look very practicle.

Going to the snow here ends up costing close to $1000 Australian (about $750 US approx) for 5 days and with my 11month old and my wife 7.5 months pregnate, well skiing is just out of the question, damn I've not been
      • We did have hail a few times this winter, and snow flurries on one day but it didn't settle. Other parts of NZ get more snow. Christchurch hasn't had decent snow for ages.

It gets below zero at night. The lawn is white every morning.
  • Muggy, muggy, muggy, and hot. It's also muggy.
