It is amazing what the brain can induce when the mind is out of control, or mislead. Nothing to fear but fear itself, and boy, fear is like the killer drug. Fear, or anticipation or any strongly felt emotion can wreak havoc. Haven't we all known people who have played tricks on gulible people?
