boyfriend of tuxette and I graded successfully to P5 in Krav Maga on Thursday. Next up is G1 and we won't be allowed to grade to that for at least another year :-)

Congratulations. I ran across Krav Maga in a fiction book that I was reading (spy story), and ended up looking it up on Wikipedia. Very interesting. There wasn't anything about the levels, though. How far up are you? Where do you start, and what's the highest level? Is there a level qualification for instructors?

Levels go like this: Practitioner Level 1-5 (I just graded to Practitioner Level 5) Graduate Level 1-5 (most of our instructors are graduate 4-5) Expert Level 1-5 (one of our instructors is Expert 2) Master Level 1-3 At the higher levels, you have to wait longer between gradings. I have to wait at least a year before I can go up to G1...
