In Ottawa today, Bush thanked the crowd (of protesters) "for waving with all five fingers."

I'm surprised it's that low. 85% of Canadians were opposed to the invasion of Iraq before it happened. It would be an understatement to say that this number probably has not decreased since then.

Yep. One person gave him 2 fingers, and three others each gave him one.

Seriously, we can vehemently disagree with his positions, but when he comes to Canada, he's also representing the American people, and Canadians still love Americans, even though we disagree over policies.

Plus, I guess we're just hopeful that, by being friendly, we can help moderate things a bit.

how many fellow Canadians would get upset by that... Several of my friends get upset about anything GWB does. Personally I laughed. Kinda pissed at the protesters though, they bitch about him not coming here then he comes here and they bitch about that! Arrrgh.
