no, i'm saying that you can use aMSN, Mercury, Kopete or other IM client... since you are probably not so worried about the whole desktop looking the same

Last night i tried for the first time in my 6-year linux experience, the slackware distribution.
Despite it is sometimes boring to do some of the basic tasks, its fun to maintain a system at such a "low-level"
The install process is great, very simple but efficient. No problems at all, installing slack 9.1
