Frankly the weight problem is part of the global health problem. At least in civilized countries the health authorities tackle adjacent issues like weight, smoking habits, drugs use, etc.

Oh wow. This is basic parenting. Don't let your kids play with a tablet or smartphone. Don't let them braindrain in front of a TV. Let them read books. Let you read books to them, tell them stories, play games with them, talk and discuss various subjects. Let them play outside.

I think it's just the result of decades of education. Individualism, "me first", children raised as kings and queens. You get the fruits or what you sowed now.

Unlike Apple here we have two giants (Samsung & Microsoft) fighting to control the user's data - and you can add Google into the mix. Of course all of them are using proprietary protocols to erect walls around their data silos. That's why you'll always have an unstable mess with end-users lost between those "solutions".
