They addressed this early on the first day. The presenter said market demand will entice companies into providing what people want, the only question is how far that should be allowed to go. Repair a congenital disease? Sure. What about enhancing existing sensory systems to give someone the ability to see infrared? What if they want to have skin that glows in the dark?
