Journal tomhudson's Journal: Did anyone ever watch the pilot to The Lone Gunman? 5

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243069/

The pilot episode, which first aired on March 4, 2001, concerned a terrorist plot to fly a hijacked airplane into the World Trade Center towers.

A friend showed it to me last night ...

The pilot show is a government plot to do a "false-flag" attack to help the military-industrial complex economically, by flying a 727 into the World Trade Center.

Badly written, cheesy, etc, so its no wonder it got sh*t-canned, but still, kind of creepy ...

They got the plane make right - Boeing - just not the model ...

Speaking of which - Ad slogans we'll never see:

  • "Boeing 767 - for maximum impact."
  • "Boeing 767 - the most bang for a buck."
  • "Boeing 767 - when you need to put it to the wall, we deliver."
  • "Boeing 767 - after flying with us, you'll never fly anything else again."
  • "Boeing 767 - closest thing to heaven."

Did anyone ever watch the pilot to The Lone Gunman?

  • My wife and I actually enjoyed the show. It was fun in a cheesy sort of way. Decent spin-off of the X-Files.

I don't remember any of the episodes specifically, though.

  • Boring, poorly paced, limp direction. I found the characters very unappealing. The show lacked a sense of humor, and was really "not fun".

Bun Lone Gunmen was dumb and fun! Hacker-geek characters, with a mysterious, hot Persian chick.

Plus, they imagined what Condi said "no one could have imagined..."
  • So What do you make of the Boeing 777 "Dreamliner"????
