So, after over a decade, Google cannot generate 10 minutes of music I want without going off, cannot deliver relevant ads or get anything right. Facebook misses the mark on targeting me almost 90% of the time. They should worry about making the simple things work before declaring their buggy non working tech will take over the world.

Ignore all the emotional triggers about doom from the environment, inequity and everything else and just observe what is happening. Global famine is foreseeable Economic destruction as seen in Sri Lanka Power outages and unable to charge the electric vehicles that will be the only option soon. Smart power meters that can surveil your activity and shut down your power Non farmers scooping up farmland. If this continues, we really will own nothing and they will be happy in their fancy cars we can't own, private jets we can't use, eating gourmet meat dishes while we get insects. Rather than discuss this technology or that, why not discuss where this is heading and what damage to society will come.

I have trouble with all of these exact temperature predictions. Our local weather forecasters rarely are accurate over 12 hours. How do we know they are accurate over years and decades on a global scale? Those old enough will remember the population bomb. Back then, it was all over by the mid 70's. Walter Cronkite had the graph with the flipping numbers of population growth heading to the number of planet destruction population growth. President Nixon was on TV with dire warnings. It was the end. World population was over 3 billion and climbing. Then we had worldwide destruction from ozone. Then it was a new ice age. The only man made risk I believe exists is global thermo nuclear war. All else is speculation. For reference, look up Maurice Strong, the originator of climate change as a political tool. Go ahead, recite your talking points. I've heard it all before. As King Solomon said, there is nothing new under the sun, all is futility
