As it stands, Team Fortress on the Xbox 360 is nothing but a demo. I bought the Orange box for the 360 when it came out. I still consider it a good deal for the Half Life series and Portal but in the case of Team Fortress I felt like an idiot for the endless updates and addons available for free on the PC version. I learned my lesson and got steam, had to re purchase TF2 but the advantage is that I can play it in any computer and after testing the new enviromets, I am afraid that the xbox 360 can't handle the demanding levels of physics and graphics of Team Fortress 2. Even with a limited number of players, xbox always looks laggy and the new maps are bigger and more complex. So the lesson here is that multiplayers from valve will ALWAYS be better on the pc, other non multiplayer titles like Mass Effect, Bioshock, or GTA with occasional updates are ok on the 360.

Wells Fargo Bank Sues Itself 445

Extreme economic problems require extreme solutions, and Wells Fargo Bank has come up with a good one. They have decided to sue themselves. Wells Fargo holds the first and second mortgages on a condominium that is going into foreclosure. As holder of the first, they are suing all other lien holders, including the holder of the second, which is Wells Fargo. It gets better. The company has hired a lawyer to defend itself against its own lawsuit. The defense lawyer even filed this answer to the complaint, "Defendant admits that it is the owner and holder of a mortgage encumbering the subject real property. All other allegations of the complaint are denied." On the website The Consumer Warning Network, Angie Moreschi wrote: "We've apparently reached the perfect storm for complete and utter idiocy by some banks trying to foreclose on homes."

I love the way it started, but they made it too easy on John Connor to penetrate skynet. He only had to fight a few robots. And what's up with the Daltonic effects they put to the lenses. At times it look completely black and white except some weird bright red bushes. Reminded me of fallout 3. Also, skynet apparently lives in the apple store of San Francisco, literally, I guess that's why the resistance are constantly shown using vaio.

The Development of Braid 27

Gamasutra sat down with Jonathan Blow, creator of the successful independent game Braid. He talks about going through the three-year-plus development cycle as a one-man team, and how his concept of the game changed as he worked on it. He also discusses what he feels is the difference between "natural rewards" and "artificial rewards." "... for the most part, when you're playing Tetris, you're enjoying it because you enjoy fitting the blocks together. Whereas when you play World of Warcraft — and what I'm about to say is a generalization, since different players enjoy different things, obviously — a lot of the appeal of playing World of Warcraft is not in the core gameplay mechanic, because it's boring, a lot of the time. ... I think what keeps them in there is, at first, the level ding, because it's very addictive to get that. 'Okay, I've got more gold. Whatever.' And eventually, they've made this huge time investment and they've got a character there and they know what that level ding feels like and the next one is pretty far off, but they can get there! And it's not any better, because this is like number 67. It's got to be better than 66!"
