I am not trolling. It's time to move beyond C, to a safer programming language. C is the language of the gods: only gods can make faultless programs with it.

Absolutely correct! The kernel should be written in javascript or python and all system calls be replaced by web services. The javascript interpreter would be directly implemented in the cpu, as well as the xml parser stuff. I wonder why nobody has done this yet, maybe because everybody except you and me are backwards-thinking, nostalgic idiots. That must be the reason.
