Responding to my previous post right now, I created a dummy account to see what was being moderated out of existance. Threshold set to -1000000. I see very few posts with negative numbers, lowest being -5. Paraphrased it was "expletive, Microsoft sucks". The other comments were in a similar vein. Looking at the most positive comments there is a fairly even distribution on the content: This is proof of Microsoft being a monopoly; The article is just heresay, where's the documentation?; etc.

Not that bad really.
