A comfortable cafe: good music, good chairs, good company, nerdy chess matches, grotesque wall hangings. Quite an experience, knowing everyone around you is a stranger, but a linux geek. Most interesting time; we should make it a weekly party.
It is pretty crowded. Many men, few women. Men with standard open source shirts, men with shirts proclaiming: "for sale: available man. barely used. Make an offer. [etc.]" Men with big beards. Men with big stomachs. Skinny men, fat men, young men, old men. Why can't the old men get into the dance party? Men who talk too much in a monologue, men who talk too little, and look down.
Women with devilish BSD horns. Women latching on to said men, apparently attached.
Linus mingled among us for a bit, and then somehow slipped away.
