japonicus writes: The Economist has an article summarizing the current state of distribution computing, (think Seti and such ilk) and suggesting that distributed-human projects are going to be the next big thing. Distributed proofreaders has been a longstanding success yet inexplicably failed to even get a mention in the article, but there a lot of other projects waiting in the wings, and with Boinc about to expand to include human processing is the article right that Moore's law is about to start applying to grey cells as well as transistors?
