So if I am an IT services provider looking after systems for my Customers and need to patch this ... then the first thing they will ask is "what performance impact did your testing of the patch show?" ... which I can't now tell them as it would be providing them with comparison test results between a system before and after patching ...

Without providing this then they will not agree to the change being made ... which means the system will have to remain unpatched and vulnerable.

... and myPlex is completely optional to use. you don't need to have an account on it nor log an installed Plex server into it (I set up Plex for my Dad over the Christmas holidays and his system is not configured talk to myPlex at all).

Works fine for him (and for my own slightly more sophisticated setup) despite some of the rants against it in this thread ...

The Australian programme I believe is Nothing to Declare. There is also a NZ equivalent called Passport Patrol.

One of the lesser digital channels in the UK broadcasts both shows (normally multiple times a day)

Sorry but that is rubbish.

I'm in the UK and have ordered DVDs from Amazon in the US, Canada and Japan as well as the UK with zero problems. Their electronic offering may be locked to a single territory but I've never had issues ordering DVDs

I would agree with this, having used various of the products mentioned, with the following comments ...

1. Be aware that TSM is quite expensive!
2. If you go with TSM get decent training for it. I have worked with several systems which have been setup incorrectly because the person(s) setting up the TSM system had not had sufficient training in order to configure things properly.
3. (Related to 2), make sure you know how to recover your TSM system in the event of a full DR, (not difficult if you know what you are doing but can beinteresting if you don't).
