I live in Texas, but for a couple of months I was a intern in San Jose. I was always amazed how cool it was the whole summer I was there except for the few "hot" days. Being from Texas I know what hot and humid is, and I was amazed how there could be brownouts during those hot days in the Valley. If that ever occurred in Texas the people would be out in the streets on the verge or a riot if the A/C ever went out. I still never figured out if the apartment I lived in ever had A/C. Now it would be a perfect place to live in if you didn't have that pesky state tax.
