A great book. Gives a wonderful account of the story.
Although Mr Singh spoke breafly about Information Hiding, I wonder if he could write a sequal to the Code Book about it?
It appears that PL/I (and its dialects) is, or will be, the most widely used higher level language for systems programming. -- J. Sammet
