Comment IV melts the hearts of all skeptics. (Score 1) 634

Funny how this question yields this much conversation. I got my father interested with IV - Voyage home. It was the one that got me interested a couple of years ago. And now i'm at the point of owning complete collection minus the Abrams movie - And i have starfleet insignia tattooed on my chest: http://mirosol.kapsi.fi/varasto/badge.jpg

Comment This month's PS fail (Score 0) 271

I've been thinking about which Sony WTF I will state as this year's epic WTF in my top 10. The candidate list is getting a bit too long. Security breach? Month and a half outage in services? Anti-lawsuit EULA? Punishment for consumers who buy used games? SE Xperia x10 mini not getting updates? Instead of listing one of Sony's greatest hit in 2011's WTF-listings, i suggest we should list top ten of Sony Fails fot this year... I just wish there would be gaming console that's manufacturer isn't straight from hell.

Comment Does anyone else feel raped? (Score 1) 404

This would not happen to amazon, paypal or any other instance with 77 million users - with sensitive personal data. I'm still hoping that it wasn't criminally motivated intrusion. There is still a tiny chance, that the one who did it was just proving a point. Tried to play something last night, but it didn't feel the same any more. Might say that now i know how abused spouses feel.

Comment Defining serious offences? (Score 1) 316

And who'se moral do we take as standard in defining serious offences? Serious offence for some might be something completely different than what you and me consider serious. If we use the law to define our morals, we must also keep in mind that some laws are just plain stupid. This just popped to my mind while clicking on "nobody"...
