Submission + - Apache Ant gets a makeover

theGeekDude writes: Virtual Ant allows you to run your ant tasks on a Virtual File System (VFS), which is an emulated copy of your real file system, and see the results in real time, without affecting your real file system. Whatever you do on the VFS is recorded and generated as an ANT build script. The VFS uses tricks which makes it way faster than the real file system, so if you run your java compiler on over 500 source files in the VFS, they are compiled instantly. It also has some really cool features, like you can go back and forth in time and see how your file system looks like after each task was executed.
