This smells fishy, because if I remember correctly, Google owns a significant share of Baidu.

Polar Rose, of of the new and controversial facial recognition companies, plans to offer their service on cell phones.

Mikkel Thagaard, Polar's vice president of business development, told The Register he was planning to let people get at this sort of information straight over their mobile phones.
