Huh? What taxes? There are no taxes (in the US) for simply owning bitcoin. If/when you sell then capital gains will apply.

Believe it or not, I have synthesized CdZnTe and CdZnSe (among other compounds) at a small company in Cleveland, Ohio in the 1990s, at the time named Cleveland Crystals.
