Good things come to those who wait... and now it's time for a new Nagios Version which was released yesterday. The version 3.0 includes inhabitance from object groups which simplifies the configuration, faster startup, enhanced timeperiodes for alarming (no alerts on holidays ;) and a lot of new cool features. every now and then i find myself thinking whether to use bash or php for some shell scripts. the last time i was forced to use php was for working with databases. now i would like to know if anybody out there knows a good book dedicated to php shell skripting? any tips are welcome!
