I use their Xreader (xapps) on Xfce, I'm glad to see them working on Xepub - it's available in AUR and gave it a shot. It's using that GNOME style titlebar (where there is none) and "app interface" (like in preferences and whatnot) that just kinda looks weird compared to xreader, looks to be using a python middleware. Has chapters, bookmarks, annotations and a search but no options for style of pagination "go to page", scrollbars etc. so if you want to go to page 52, you're smashing buttons for awhile. (up/down/left/right, home and end are nonop)

Interestingly, the default (and only) option turned on is Stylized Book - which makes the book completely unreadable on my dark mode laptop screen. Simply turning that off made it normal (using window colors etc.) so it's possible that's some sort of bug on non Mint platforms. You can customize the font as well for reading but that's about it as far as options. It's a 1.0, good first effort and it's functionally usable.

One of the things myself and mates are testing is Delta Chat (https://delta.chat) over chatmail relays - it works surprisingly well, and the new design of chatmail relay onboarding is pretty darn easy. Using it is just fine (the UI is dated, could use a designer); I was worried about battery use but it seems to do a really good job, down at the 2% level with regular use since it's not using push tech, instead having to poll.
