It's substantially better than the "Martian" book.
The Martian book is littered with errors and
inconsitencies and the code is all but useless as
anything but a basic reference. Though, like the "Martian" book, it covers POA, which is nice since
pretty much none of the other books do.
"Advanced..." is really good if you're looking for
in-depth info on CORBA and the COS specifications.
