I'm replacing windows 11 in newer machines with Linux Mint.
And so far, people are being ok with it.
I won be using 11, its way too intrusive for an small company,
which depends of its privacy.

Even though, I wonder, if Mozilla management isn't being paid to kill off the Firefox browser by making changes that drive away users
However. It steel relevant. I recommend it to all my students.

This configuration its inexpensive, good quality picture, easy to install and works great a day time
You may need double, if you need night time surveillance (raspi noIR camera).
Besides, learning a bit of Linux will do you just good.

As an evolution from DOS
Windows has been around enough to make its architecture feel instinctive.
Its organized and works well enough.

Linux its a kitchen with too many chefs.
If you stick with Debian, It tends to be organized, almost professional.
but, the fractionality of it, its a pain.
I love the simplicity of Linux and use it for specific tasks,
but general computing, Windows is the boss.
I cant visualize someone using Linux without a technological degree, at least.
