Your correct. I have always explained it with something as simple as drive letters in Windows/Dos. Until Linux has something as simple as Go Get this from the J Drive (Instead of go get this from the folder /mnt/whatever (Which isn't a folder but is a separate drive but we don't call them drives in linux cause that's not technical enough for our open source community)

This is result of the finance team looking at the monthly costs of funding the cloud hosting and development required to maintain this IOT solution and realizing they don't have a direct revenue source to offset it.
