But all the big consumer PC brands like Dell, HP, Vaio, Gateway, etc. are Riddled with exclusive deals. By the time they can think of distributing these cards in their PCs the next generation will be out. Remember, all those years when AMD had amazing processors, the couldn't gain market share because most re-sellers were stuck with long term intel-exclusive deals .... Same with what's stopping linux now... It was unfit for consumer use for a long time.. But with distro's like Ubuntu, It is mature enough for everyone, but Microsoft exclusive deals and Fears of not able to use proprietary appls like Yahoo! Messenger voice chat, that microphone, google talk, videos on ABC.com, etc. stop ppl from migrating en=masse

If the newspaper has good quality, people will want to read it, provided the cost is reasonable... how does any newspaper justify 2-2.5$(wsj, financial times) even if they office some good insight.... newspapers have to change from reporting the news to analyzing and providing good opinion, consequences and literary language... Everyone knows the news from TV the night before, or within 10 minutes of it happening online... many newspapers still do good in India because they identified the above and changed their format and content to suit the same... The reader should feel like reading cover to cover trying to understand everything and feeling good and informative about it... quality value at a reasonable price ( a quarter, like many papers already are)...

Any equally good benchmarks, which also include a comparison of the 64bit and 32bit java versions... now that java has a 64bit browser plugin, i don't have to worry about separate browser and stuff... just waiting for the final version of 64bit flash to come out...

Comment Nuclear Batteries (Score 1) 397

Wireless power, you still need to be around a live power source. Nuclear batteries are the best option, plug in and last for life. The only problem being the batteries may outlast the device by a n factor... Didn't the machines in Terminator future run on nuclear batteries or something?
