java_grinder allows compiled java bytecode to be run on microcontrollers and older processors: https://www.mikekohn.net/micro... Java may be used for higher-level stuff, and custom APIs/inline assembly for the rest. This is a unique and important project to watch in 2016.

I'm tired of seeing zillions of replies to "Score:0" posts, and having to diddle around and lose my place just to see the original post. A top-level post should always be visible if there are responses to it.

I agree with the marketing problem - it's very hard to draw attention to a project or get help. This Slashdot page gives you a unique opportunity to find people who might be interested in this, so make the most of it while you can.

Do you realize that SF already removed the crapware installer? I think this happened like 2-3 days ago. There could have been a mistake or misunderstanding but that doesn't warrant being immature about the whole thing.
