Hell, Microsoft even got the idea for Windows from getting a look at what Apple was working on at the time (Lisa/Mac)! Apple is the new Microsoft...

And Apple got most of it from Xerox PARC Alto. Your point? Apple has never really innovated. They just take others ideas and make them (at least in their mind) "better."

Exactly. As when you are in full control, being in partial control means YOU still bear the burden of assessing the surroundings and reacting to such. Just as the rear-view cameras cannot see the entire rear end of most vehicles. etc.

I fear until we have truly self-driving cars, all we are doing is breeding a bunch of inept drivers, who can't handle being in full control of their large and very heavy blunt objects.

So then you're agreeing if I leave my door unlocked at night and someone comes in and steals something, it's my fault because the asshat thought it was okay to steal?

Whereas you are right to a certain extent, there are cases that victims can be partially to blame. In New York State, you can be ticketed for leaving an unattended car running. There have been cases of people reporting their car stolen, and getting ticketed when the police show up.

The issue is that the parts are not standard PC parts which is a different matter.

Which would still make it cost prohibitive to do so, since it would be a mac-specific part. referring back to my original post, (the part of which you decided to ignore in your rebuttal)

And need we talk about the fact that up until recently, you could only install (basically) Apple sanctioned expansion cards in their machines?

which would appear to be making a comeback.

And therein lies the crux of it. And the iMac and mini still have most of their parts soldered on.
