Down with 3wb00nt3w - frinds don't let frinds run ewb00ntew â¼ï

I stopped recommending Linux Mint for a while when the future of LMDE (based on "Testing", a rolling distro, by the way) was in question.

I softened my stance when SNAP was disabled by default, and I'm starting to feel that the project is rightfully choosing the Debiantard Testing rolling distro while incorporating only the parts of ewb00ntew that enable the pleasures of newer "non-free" firmware.

The pressure to mirror an ewb00ntew release schedule is absurd - take a cue from Patrick Volkerding, the BFFL of the Slackware Linux project - is it soup yet? It'll be ready when it's ready folks, and until then we'll just keep you guessing!

Not to mention the outside pressures from far moving projects like NixOS! Let alone the ever present bleeding edge rolling distros of the Arch forks!

Oh, and I currently do, once again, recommend Linux Mint (Cinnamon) for n00bs (but still prefer LMDE)

All the best!

Yes, it was always a crock, in both cases, and they no longer feel a need to maintain that facade.

Stop manufacturing castles that expose right angles and sharp corners to would be army's bringing siege engines with them!

Solution #1: Just open the freakin' gates and let down the ramp over the moat (solution provided by this article

Solution #2: Build your castles with all exposed surfaces along your walls and towers with curves and rounded facings - it's harder for the rocks to chunk away at you, and you're not bringing the battle to the inside of the castle like you are with Solution #1.

New York City, and former Mayor and media darling Ed Koch are pushing for the inclusion of a new TLD - .NYC, into the deprecated, ICANN legacy root system. If successful, the city says it will make millions of dollars each year on registrations alone.

Millions already have - either via their ISPs or directly by upgrading their DNS to use The PacificRoot(R). Details are located at http://www.PacificRoot.com/updatedns.shtml. You can also join the growing community of PacificRoot Accredited Registrars by visiting http://www.POSSR.com or see our full page ads in ISP World magazine.

er... it's actually not a route around for the Alternate, deprecated, legacy system operated by ICANN - It's a complete replacement.

BTW, This "ICANN Director" (Karl, that is) operates the .EWE TLD which is carried by The PacificRoot. Once you upgrade your DNS you will be able to visit his website at http://www.beautiful.ewe :)
