Correct me if I am wrong, but if you and your diesel sub are in international waters, not damaging anything related to America (for example, a fibre link between russia and iceland) then wouldn't the US navy be out of it's jurisdiction to stop you? International waters means that the US navy ain't the cops! If the Russian or Icelandic government were to request that the US sub that had it nose up your propeller torpedo you, then it probably would, but until then, wouldn't it be kinda illegal to?
