Oh please — can we finally stop blaming every imaginable human struggle on Covid? The way the media talks, you’d think the virus turned the whole planet into a psychiatric ward overnight. Brains shrank, IQs collapsed, society unraveled — give me a break.
Nothing changed for me except fewer flights and a piece of cloth on my face. I didn’t spiral into madness, I didn’t “age five years overnight,” and I certainly didn’t become a shell of my former self because of a lockdown and Netflix.
This obsession with turning Covid into the universal scapegoat for every minor decline or inconvenience is just lazy. Maybe the real problem isn’t the virus — maybe it’s the constant need to catastrophize every damn thing for clicks and grant money.
