Twitter is bad. Slashdot is not much better. There's no perfect social media platform, there's no prefect news outlet, far from it. Turn on your own brain filter, and figure it out for yourself. Do not let someone tell you their version of the truth with your brain turned off or else you will live at your own peril and be tossed to and fro by the changing tides. Actually, it's not that the sea is higher in one location, it's that it's lowering everywhere else! :*) :*) :*) You are correct, the average sea level, ignoring tidal moments, cannot be higher in one location than the rest of the connected seas - that's why it's called "sea level" (even though the earth is somewhat spherical). Saying a sea level is higher in one location than another is fake news and ignores science/physics. Although someone has invented a water level elevator, and that causes water levels to rise in that location, that invention is called a loch. I suppose lochs could be considered man made climate change in that one very local area, however.

Understandably, the rich don't want to lose all their money to taxes so they leave! They're leaving the US, leaving France in droves, the rich even try to leave China! The question is, where are they going with all their wealth? Is there some island in the Bahamas with a million rich people?

Wealthy people leaving, foreigners buying up houses and property in major cities, or corporations sending jobs and IP overseas? Either way Americans get the short end of the stick. The entitled don't seem to understand that wealth is fleeting.
