Sex Drugs and Texting 287

statesman writes "The Associated Press reports that teens who text frequently are three and a half times more likely to have sex. A survey of 4,200 public high school students in the Cleveland area found that one in five students sent more than 120 text messages a day or spent more than 3 hours a day on Facebook. Students in this group were much more likely to have sex. Alcohol and drug use also correlate with frequent texting and heavy Facebook use."

"It requires a computational capacity of 36.8 petaflops -- a thousand trillion floating point operations per second" But how much of the human brain is devoted to controlling the physical body. The part we are interested for AI type purposes, I would think, would be significantly smaller.

They are going to try to reinvent the wheel. Why not just got after best of breed? Thats what Fisker is doing when he partnered with Quantum Technologies on the Fisker Karma. Quantum Technologies is already partnered with GM on other projects. GM already owns a small stake in the company. If they dont act fast Fisker will take off and so will their chances of getting QTWW at bargain basement prices. But even the new GM is to big and will move way to slowly and will miss the boat again. In the meantime QTWW should skyrocket in the next few months as the Karma debut gets closer and new picks up on it.

yeah right Go all in in TMR today on a pullback in the mid .50s you will see 3.00 by Aug I think that will beat your 20% beaten down oil co, when summer demand is coming up. I hope tomorrows Schork report drives it down further so I can double up. and I think ATPG looks just as good. These arent pennys being manipulated and pumped. nyse with vol yesterday over 3 mil
