Stephen is vice president of open source development strategy at Optaros, Inc. He worked for Microsoft on Interix, Rotor, and the bus dev team exploring how Microsoft could best develop open source communities. He was a founder at Softway. He's worked at MKS, EDS, and other places. He was a long time participant in the POSIX/UNIX standards representing USENIX and EUUG.
