Anime is NOT japanese animated porn (Score 1)

For starters there is a few things you need to realize about the term anime. In Japan the animation industy is just like any other type of film making (just like in the US's Hollywood). The feature films they produce cover a broad spectrum of types and audiences. There are Kiddie (G, PG rated) films for the youngin's, there are more mature films (PG-13) and there are very mature films (R rated). Yes there are even porn films. But does that mean that all the anime is porn. Of course not! A little nudity or violence or salty language make a moive more mature or very mature, not porn.

But your beef is with the panty displaying winds and the violence. Have you ever gone to an Hollywood film that had say an R rating, the story was good the action was wonderful, but there is a nude scene and the characters curse a lot. Neither of the last two items "added" to the film they were there to get a rating. Anime is also subject to having things happen just because the film needed a certain rating.

Finally, there is innumeralbe anime that exceedes the "sexual content". Key the Metal Idol is a prime example. There is some nudity (once or twice unneceacry but it is not completely pointless) and some "sexual situations" but I would hardly classify it as porn. Furthur more the story is so friggin' cool, that the "sexual situations" are for the most part forgotten. Go watch some more anime and you will see why people are addicted.
