If the Democrats actually represented the people instead of their donors, they'd trounce the Republicans and Russian "meddling" would be equivalent to a rounding error. Instead they promote candidates that can't beat an orange clown and then blame the Russians when they lose.

I'd like to see college students get jailed for pirating music. It might prompt a consumer backlash against the RIAA or something... And if it works, well, that's fine too.. Then we won't have to worry nearly as much about stupid laws like the DMCA getting passed. Media companies won't have nearly the incentive to pay for the laws as very few people will be pirating their stuff. Either way, I don't care. I don't pirate music. If someone else winds up in jail for pirating music, screw them. Their actions result in laws like the DMCA that inconvenience the rest of us.
