I paid $129 for a year for Prime without ads. Then they added ads, and not only did they not lower the price, they then wanted $36 a year *more* to make them go away again and they didn't wait for the year I had paid for to go by before doing it. That's some serious hutzpah there. It's amazing to me how far over people will let companies like Amazon bend them over before they realize what's going on.

I haven't been to or posted on reddit since June 12th. I posted one last time on the post about removing the ability to disable targeted ads to tell everyone else they should permenently delete their account because even their bitching helps perpetuate the enshittification of reddit. Then I permanently deleted my reddit account. My conscience is a little lighter, now. A little.

Netflix app can just use the 'arp' command to get all MAC addresses on the local network and then look up the devices by the MAC adress and Netflix will know how many and what type of devices are connected to your local network, as well as how often. MAC addresses are also unique identifiers.

Android only, but I send all calls that are not in my contacts directly to VM with Tasker.

Step 1: Buy Tasker because it's awesome and doesn't steal your data.
Step 2: Make a Profile in Tasker for incoming calls with !C:ANY and Hang-up as the Task. (Hang up if the caller is not in my contacts)
Step 3: Enjoy receiving calls that only come from your contacts while all others immediately go to VM.
