Journal Journal: Sony annouces Hi-MD enhancements - MP3 & Photo support

Sony sneaked this story out yesterday. New Hi-MD Walkman products will play back native MP3 files without transcoding and a new sub-format Hi-MD PHOTO allows Hi-MD devices to capture and store photos.

There's also a new Hi-MD player, the MZ-DH10P that combines WALKMAN features with a 1.3MP digital camera.

My point is that I downloaded an English language version of SS 2.3 on Friday that works perfectly with the NW-HD3 when you say that one wasn't available. In fact, my situation was virtually identical to yours and I had a successful outcome. I guess I was lucky and you were'nt.
