Similar story, a friend of mine's cottage has an AirBNB next door (well maybe 500ft away), often the AirBNB guests party late. When that happens, my friend blast opera at 6am to wake them up. Every time I hear this is, it is from someone that only speaks English.

Trust me that English is by far the easiest, and I speak 6 languages (none well maybe).

Latin based languages are much more complicated because you have deference or politeness (which does not even exist in English), plus all the verb tenses, then masculine/feminine. And on masculine/feminine they are different in Italian/French/Spanish/Portuguese, when you think you got it, you can quickly sound like foreigner with one mistake.

Japanese and German have many levels of deference as well.

Old joke: What do you call someone who speaks 3 languages? Trilingual. 2 languages? Bilingual. One language: American.

While not perfect and by no means stopping this kind of attack, setting up and using Alexa Guard can be useful.
