Comment The tsunami, not the quake (Score 1) 769
The media in Germany give the impression, that the quake provoked the problems. But actually the cooling diesels worked fine until the tsunami hit the plant. That caused the diesels to stop working and hence the failure of the cooling system.
But as everybody understands that there can be no tsunamis in Germany the quake must be the culprit, so the public can be scared with the idea of a quake in Germany, too.
