Journal Journal: Web 2.0(1985-remixed) :-D
I've been like thinking about all of like this Web 2.0 stuff,
I mean I like it. I'm a geekette and love things that work right and have features that like let me design thing like how I want(and yeah so I use HTML in my e-mails. I like my internet to be pretty & fun. But like back to my point, I've been using 'community' features of the internet for like ever. So like how come there is all this talk about Web 2.0 when I basically always felt like this was the whole point of the net. I mean I've been using User Groups, News groups, BBSs, and then like eventually I started browsing the Web. So like is all this talk about Web 2.0 basically just because like all the stuff we were using in like the 80s(with my lil Tandy - it was like way cute) has like finally started like not completely sucking? I love Web 2.0 and I'm even working on my own like social networking project. But as I do, as I gather research and etc I realize how much what everyone is like so excited about seems like what I used to love so much. What seemed to have almost have like disappear. So I'm excited about social networking, Web 2.0, 1985x2, or whatever I'm just glad we're using the net just to like isolate ourselves. I feel like lot of us have know & felt how powerfully the net can be in bring us together over idea, ideals, projects, and like so much more. Its funny how 'the Mentors last words' fits so well as like a slogan for Web 2.0. Its as wonderful today as it was when it was wrote in 1985. And just like then flamers & politician still like totally suck. Take care & Blessed Be :-)
