Give it about 11 minutes after the first space colony launches. The people from New Plymouth Crater will insist they’re nothing like those oxygen-stealing freeloaders from Beta Dome. The proud citizens of the Glorious Republic of Elon’s Folly will claim the ice mines of Upper Crater 7 as their sacred ancestral vacuum. Meanwhile the Free Asteroid Commune of Rock #482B will blockade shipping because the Jovian Belt Confederation insulted their flag.

Realistically it's going to occur slowly enough to depopulate everyone in a safe and secure manner, there's only 400,000 people there. The airport handles 8 million passengers a year. It's too important geographically to abandon completely. What's much more likely to happen is that people will continue to move there, because it's not a problem.

So for those who don't know, many of Brandon's books are very separate from each other on very different worlds with different magics but are set in the same overall universe. You might have metal based magic in Mistborn, or storm/oath based magics in Stormlight Archive, but each are pretty different. You don't need to have read any of the other series of books to know what's going on, but there is some crossover between a few characters that can hop to other worlds that have very little bearing on the story but are fun to know. The Mistborn Trilogy would be a good interesting start, or perhaps just do Elantris. The Stormlight Archive is simply too big and too slow to do I think (and well, is only half finished) As he's getting older and has found success, you can tell his writing is starting to suffer - I don't expect we'll ever get an answer to the whole Cosmere storyline, and I don't think the TV shows will ever manage it either. There just isn't enough time to do all the different series before an executive decides "Lets reboot this one". But that's ok, as long as we get a couple of series out of it, I'll be chuffed.

Headline insinuates it was SpaceX's fault, but they've been ready to go for years and have been waiting on the payloads. SpaceX has one more Falcon Heavy planned this year, and four for 2023, but I'd be very surprised if more than one of these actually happened.

End of the day, the controlling interests in twitter will continue to pump more money into it because it's a media outlet that can censor the president of the united states. It is far too powerful to let fall into the hands of Musk.

I decided to look the guy up. He seems nice, but is a total lonely man. If it wasn't Lamda, then it'd be a thai bride or giving money to a twitch girl or some other way to get attention. Google are right to put him on leave, even for his own good. He might be really good at his job, but he's making a fool out of himself here, and that's a shame.
