Totally agree with you. If you told people about the idea in this article a year ago, they would have labelled you a cuckoo tin foil headed conspiracy freak. What troubles me most is the mind disease that is seemingly infecting more people. The main symptom is the assumption that everyone is sick unless proven otherwise. This is demented, and unfortunately this mentality is spreading faster than any virus can spread.

"Lol Parler's shutdown on Monday, offers a bird's eye view of its users swarming the Capitol grounds after receiving encouragement from President Trump." Swarming the grounds after encouragement from Trump? Way to spin the story and inject opinion and fake news masquerading as real news. Whoever wrote this article is an idiot, and should have indicated it was an op-ed.

At this point Trump could tell people he likes to chew Bazooka Joe bubble gum once in a while. Next thing you know there will be studies of how this gum can cause adverse health problems for certain groups of people. Soon enough, people will be reportedly dying from choking on bubble gum because the president recommended it.

I think stories like this are in fact the fake news. Instead of labelling people who burn these towers as conspiracy theorists, tell us some of the reasons why 5g is considered controversial. Also, it's been noted by many that 5g doesn't cause covid-19. The understanding is that these frequencies interfere with the body's immune system, thus making it more susceptible to illness. I am not trying to condone burning of towers, just wanted to point out that this article sounds a little like telecommunications industry propaganda. I don't blame Slashdot though.

I'm not trying to defend this silly group of attention starved nerds, and personally I am getting sick and tired of reading headlines about their self-righteous and narcissistic crusades... but. I don't think these hacks on Trump are orchestrated by the legitimate members of the real Anonymous tribe. Because of the loose structure of this group and that basically anyone can declare themselves a member, you could have anyone behind this. My take is that these actions against Trump were done by some far left group who dislikes Trump, or a group of Islamic hackers pretending to be Anonymous. It wouldn't be hard to do.
