Granted, human beings are problematic. The dumber, the more problematic. The more childish, the more problematic. But some things just make them worse. Make them stupider, more childish. Meanwhile, other things help them become better. Most things are two-edged swords. Religion for instance makes people (sometimes) more moral, while also less mature emotionally and intellectually. Video games perhaps help develop coordination, strategizing skills, but little else.
The Good Fight is IMO not in preventing access to the bad stuff (unless it is really truly bad like nicoteine and heroine obviously) but rather the Good Fight is to create an understanding in people's heads of how their own minds work, so that they won't become killers, molesters, lobbyists or other highly-destructive types. People should know what it means to be noble and that a base thirst for violence is the opposite.
