From the article: 'In a blog post written by Leslie Sobon, the company's vice president of marketing, Sobon describes her life in the largely male-dominated world of technology as being "mostly surrounded by guys all day," but says: "I can tell you that — in general — technical guys are pretty cool," and offers advice on how girls can land a geek guy. But a recent groundbreaking event at the company's new South Carolina data center provided glimpses of the exterior of the facility, which shows a design that has evolved since Google's Oregon data center made front page news. A new feature: an open, lighted area resembling a parking deck (containers?). Still missing: moats filled with sharks with friggin' laser beams on their head."
Indian Moon Mission Launched 305
hackerdownunder writes "India's maiden lunar mission (Chandrayaan-1) got off to a flying start today. Describing the launch as 'perfect and precise,' the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), G Madhavan Nair, said that it would be 14 days before the satellite would enter into lunar orbit.
Chandrayaan carries eleven payloads: five designed and developed in India, three from the European Space Agency, one from Bulgaria and two from NASA."

Google has a feature called Google Co-op where you can "subscribe" to certain websites, so if they have information deemed relevant (by Google) to your query, Google will display the results of your "subscribed link" first. Websites must sign up to be included in the subscribed link database, so not all your sites are available. However, it can be a good starting point on your informational quest.
The feature: http://google.com/coop/
Example: I subscribe to Wikipedia. When I search for Queen Anne, the first two links at the top of the page (separate from the other results) are from Wikipedia.
You can also create Custom Search Engines, which will search only the websites that you specify. Oh the fun!
