Why is space exploration so stuck? More than 50 years have passed since humankind reached the Earth's moon. Sci-Fi writers of the time predicted an interesting future, but none of that has come to pass so far. A sci-fi writer of our time, Daniel Suarez, has what reads like an instruction list for getting humanity actually started in space. If only a billionaire in the real world would be bold enough to follow those instructions to not only go to space, but also solve Earth's most pressing problems in the process.
