Java problem is not FreeBSD's problem, it's the issue from SUN. Java is not free, especially it's implemention source code, although everyone think it is free, but it is not really, it prevents someone from modifying and porting it.
Waiting for FreeBSD 5.0, All my wishes is beating Linux, knock its head when released!
