at one of these kinds of places? Is it split by all the hourly employees? There's no guarantee it doesn't go straight to the owner. There was a local restaurant owner in my town that took all tips from his waitstaff for himself. He paid younger kids the standard minimum wage (not server wages) to wait tables and pocketed all the tip money for himself. Thankfully, he's no longer in business.
But the tipping at a walk up payment screen just just angering in and of itself. Tip for what?
People don't want to wear VR or AR headsets. Ask Facebook. The most useful of all these kinds of devices was Google Glass...and nobody wanted that either.
They wanted an opening to make their tech so pervasive that they could eventually close it and control it. You'll notice the same thing about people who once called for free speech. Now that they find themselves with power, they want to shut that down now too.
More patrols don't increase a crime rate. If anything, they decrease it by making criminals more wary of committing a crime. Crime rates (we're talking violent and property crime here) are almost exclusively a result of VICTIMS reporting crime to the police. Trying to dismiss crime rates as a racist bias completely dismisses the people who live in these communities that are victimized by the criminals in these communities.
That is the version of "defunding the police" that sane liberals have tried to salvage from the original version called for by the far left, which literally wanted to abolish police. Liberals need to stop pretending they don't have a problem with radicals too.
