The Internet must remain a completely free medium. There must be no censorship whatsoever except that imposed by private website owners. The Internet is an INTERNATIONAL medium. The US government, especially the FCC and DOJ seem to wish to deny this and want to pass laws like the DMCA and COPPA which squelch free expression online. Pretty soon, they'll probably try to outlaw swearing or anti-government speech. Also those who wish to prosecute file sharers and the companies that make P2P software are nothing but corporate whores whose pockets are being lined by the RIAA and MPAA. Americans need to wake up and realize that our online free speech is under threat by the very government that's supposed to safeguard our rights. It's time to stop trusting corrupt politicians and start trusting in God, each other and in ourselves. If we're not willing to stand up for our rights, we don't deserve them.
